Wild & Free Firming Skin Restoring Body Cream
My Natural and Organic Body Cream came about when I first started formulating skin care products about 10 years ago. I had dry skin and dry hands and was looking for a way to make a cream that was more concentrated than typical chemical laden products. My face/body cream will leave your swkin moisturized with only a small amount and it helps your hands look younger too! It tightens the skin and helps with stretch marks with daily use.
Unrefined Shea Butter benefits-High concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins make shea butter an ideal cosmetic ingredient for softening skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Using shea butter on your body, especially your face, can condition, tone, and soothe your skin.
Cocoa Butter- contains a high amount of fatty acids, which make it well-suited as a primary ingredient in skin cream. Fatty acids help to hydrate the skin. The fat in cocoa butter creates a protective barrier that holds in moisture and prevents your skin from drying.
Mango Butter-is an effective moisturizer and may help soften your skin. The abundance of Vitamin E and Vitamin C in mangos may help protect your skin from environmental stressors like sunlight, pollution, and even blue light from screens.
Apricot Kernel Oil-is thin, odourless oil pressed from the seed or kernel of the apricot. It is one oil that many people do not even know about its existence. The oil is quite light and has a nutty, aromatic flavor, making it a popular addition to many culinary efforts in certain parts of the world. There are two different varieties of apricot kernel oil one which is used for cosmetic purposes and the other for culinary consumption. This oil has high levels of vitamin E, vitamin K, and a number of powerful antioxidants, such as caffeic acid and various catechins, all of which adds to the health benefits of this oil.
Almond Oil- has been used for centuries to soothe the skin and treat minor wounds and cuts. It has been used in ancient Chinese and Ayurvedic practices to treat skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. More than soothing dry skin, almond oil can improve complexion and skin tone. It’s highly emollient, which means it helps to balance the absorption of moisture and water loss. Because it is antibacterial and full of vitamin A, almond oil can be used to treat acne. Its concentration of vitamin E can also help to heal sun damage, reduce the signs of aging, and fade scars.
Almond oil soaks in quickly and is a powerful moisturizer, so it can be used on the face or body. Beyond moisturizing your skin, almond oil is a great skin treatment. It also has powerful antifungal properties.
Essential Oils of Lemon, Grapefruit, and Juniper-All of these essential oils have a diuretic effect and work together to help dimply skin appear less dimply as seen in cellulite. They help take the water out of our fatty tissue so you will see a smoother appearance with continued use. use my body scrub 3 x a week to improve circulation, and reduce cellulite too.
I recommend skin brushing first. 1. Start at your feet and move up your body, 2. Brush your skin using wide, circular, clockwise motions, 3. Use light pressure on thin skin, and harder pressure on thicker skin, like soles of feet.
